1. and there is nothing more to add (to what has been said or done), no further argument or discussion will be of any avail:

- and that's the end of it (of that);

- and that's it (that's that, that's final).

     ♦ "Любовь? Что это такое, ты хочешь спросить? А это только обозначение обязанностей. Да. Пошлое и... легкомысленное обозначение, которое позволяет человеку в любой момент отказаться от своих самых главных обязанностей: разлюбил, и конец, а там хоть трава не расти..." (Залыгин 1). "Love? 2. and then (after the action in question has been undertaken) the matter will be concluded, the problem in question will be resolved etc:

- and that will settle it;

- (do sth.) and be done with it.
